Robert has an extensive background in Aerodrome Design and ATM Systems Design combined with a PPL and 20 years of experience in aviation since graduating as a specialized transportation engineer. He did his Flight Procedure Design studies at the ANI several years ago. In the ANI courses he showed outstanding performance and finished all courses summa cum laude. As a result of this, Beat Zimmermann ensured that such talent does not go unnoticed and brought Robert to the ICAO Instrument Flight Procedures Panel, where after a short while he was elected into the role as the Rapporteur for the PBN Working Group, succeeding Jeremy Davidson who retired from the IFPP. Robert Bukovics’ daily job is Senior Flight Procedure Designer at Avinor in Norway.
