Josef Anschau is an active commercial pilot since 1985 on B737, B747, A320 aircraft and is currently rated as Commander, Instructor TRI and Examiner TRE for A330, A340 and A350. He started ICAO PANS OPS flight procedure design in 1998 with focus on construction, validation and implementation of satellite based navigation procedures. He is member of the ICAO EUR Performance Based Navigation Task Force and the Eurocontrol RNAV Approach Implementation Support Group.
Besides his main profession, Josef works as a founding member for the company Procedure Validation Solutions (PVS), which offers training, techniques and services in the area of flight procedure validation for enhanced safety, including a sustainable documentation concept according to ICAO Standards.
